Expansion Plans

Following the structure for the manufacturing of solids, Melcon will proceed with its expansion by the end of this year, towards the offering of hormonal drugs in all its pharmaceutical forms, like semi-solids and injectables. This project was conceived based on the highest technical standards of manufacturing, strictly following the current international guidelines and legislation (GMP).

Production Line

Counting with equipments of latest generation, Melcon has an industrial structure specially dedicated to the manufacturing of hormonal solids, with an installed capacity of 50 million tablets per month, respecting and fulfilling with all RDC 210/03 requirements.

Since the very beginning of its operations, Melcon is authorized to manufacture hormonal drugs, according to the Directors’ Collegiate Resolution – RDC 210/03

Good Manufacturing Practices Certification (cGMP)

Melcon is certified for the Production Line/Pharmaceutical Forms;
hormonal solids, tablets, film-coated tablets and capsules.
